April & May 2023
A month of bank holidays, long weekends, and compacted schedules.
The past month of 4-day weeks has not dented Inkpen Downie’s productivity or progress on all of our projects.
March 2023
The end of March also sees the end of the first quarter of what has so far been a busy year for Inkpen Downie.

February 2023
We continue to fly through the new year, and the beginning of Spring is almost upon us!
February started with the completion of a disused commercial property into a new residential property near Harwich. The works predominantly consisted of external works, providing the property with an increased level of curb appeal.
As the month progressed, we saw the demolition of the remaining facade of Colchester’s old Bus Depot which was promptly followed by extensive archaeological excavations…
January 2023
Kicking off the new year with plenty of exciting developments for both existing and potential projects!
Every new year is a good time to evaluate our performance in the previous year, reset our goals and set aims for the upcoming year in order to exceed the previous one. Looking back at the past year, we can all agree it was a turbulent one, for the construction industry and the world. Here at Inkpen Downie we are hoping for a smoother year in which we will hopefully see a steady growth for our industry as consumer confidence grows.
Which Building Contract?
Selecting a Building Contract for your project is key. Having a contract that includes the appropriate clauses and conditions to match the requirements of the project is vital - even if it’s just a small domestic project.

Joe Heads Back To University
Joe joined Inkpen Downie in July 2021 to undertake his sandwich year at Loughborough University. Since arriving, he has taken to working life extremely smoothly and is now a highly valued member of staff within the practice.
