​The Cistern Chapel : new toilets for a historic Arts Centre

New washroom facilities for all genders and incorporating the latest in sustainable sanitary fittings and embellished by the mosaic work of local artist Anne Schwegman Fielding.

This project involved the demolition and replacement of the existing toilets, making them accessible to people with of all abilities. Involving a sensitive response to the historic building, reusing the porches, and new freestanding structures within the nave in the form of  three stepped planes inserted within the aisle arcades.
